Agronomy Notes
MZ 3818 combines predictable yield with solid agronomics. Seedlings have
average seedling vigour with dark green colour. Plants have moderate plant and
ear height. Ears are long and cylindrical with 18 kernel rows. Husk cover is
adequate and covers the ear. Leaf disease tolerance is very good against
common diseases like NCLB. Stalks are strong throughout harvest. Husks flare
open in fall aiding drydown. Fall intactness and stay green are excellent. Position
in and south of maturity zone at moderate populations. Excels under variable
yield environments.
