Agronomy Notes
MZ 3120SMX starts strong with rapid spring vigour. Plants are shorter in height
with low ear placement. Plants flower similar to MZ 3397SMX. Ears are long and
cylindrical with 18-22 kernel rows and commonly have unfilled ear tips. Husk
cover is adequate to long. Husks open to aid drydown. Plants have average plant
health and intactness into the fall. Grain has average test weight. Early harvest
recommended south of zone.
