Agronomy Notes
MZ 248X starts with strong spring vigour. Seedlings are very dark colour with upright leaves. Plants flower early for maturity. Ears are high on tall plants. Kernels are deep with average weight. Husks are longer and open well. Position in and north of zone for optimal yield. Plant under moderate populations (30-32K). Highly responsive to fungicide.
