Agronomy Notes
Hybrid starts the season with very good seedling vigour. Seedlings are darker green
with more upright leaf habit vs MZ 1633DBR. Flowering date will be similar to other
hybrids in this maturity. Plant height is tall with modest ear height. Shanks are longer
holding a girthy ear. Grain sets a bit later for maturity with accelerated drydown.
Maturity leading Goss’s Wilt and NCLB tolerance. Position in and south of maturity
zone at moderate populations (34-36K).
