Agronomy Notes
MZ 1200DBR combines ultra early maturity with exceptional yield and test weight. Plants have rapid spring vigour for quick canopy closure. Plants flower 1 day earlier vs E44H12 R and have similar ear and plant height. MZ 1200DBR has very good NCLB tolerancto protect yield. Ears are 14-16 kernel rows with exceptional grain quality. Ears have adequate husk cover and flare open to aid grain drydown. Plants have very good stay green and fall intactness in
comparison to other hybrids of similar maturity. Position in and north of zone at
seeding rates of 34-37ppa for optimum performance.
