MZ 269 combines rapid early season vigour and growth with excellent grain
quality. Genetics are proven for yield stabilty across variable yield environments.
Plants are tall with moderate ear placement. Ears are short and blocky with
18-22 kernel rows. Husk cover is long and opens well at harvest. Grain quality is
very good. Plants have average disease tolerance and below average fall
intactness. Position in and north of zone.
