Maizex forage seeds are tested and carefully selected to meet the different needs of producers. Our forage blends are developed with performance in mind as well as adaptability to the different conditions of each agricultural operation. The comprehensive product line in the Maizex forage seed portfolio allows you to choose the best seeds field by field.

Ultra Mixes

The Ultra range offers high-performance mixtures of legumes and grasses combining yield, winter survival, and quality. These blends contain the best genetics with exceptional yield and disease-resistance characteristics.

These options include high-yielding alfalfas like Rustung and Samba II for ultra-productive meadows. Branchy-rooted alfalfas such as Magnum 8-Wet and Samba II help maintain yield in wetter areas. Alfalfa with a deep-set crown, such as Shift and Samba II, can better tolerate the passage of machinery. Mixing with a red clover, such as Aramis, allows you to obtain three cuts with more yield and excellent survival in fields where the pH or drainage is less adequate.

We have chosen productive grass mixtures that can accompany legume mixtures. Grasslands containing more species are more resilient to variable weather conditions. Suede tall fescue, Mahulena festulolium, and Laura meadow fescue tolerate wet conditions or periods of drought. Alaska Verlica brome and Succession hybrid brome give very impressive yields and feed quality all season long. We have a suitable solution for every field and the various feeding needs of each herd.

Pro Mixes

The Pro range contains mixes for all soil types. These are resilient blends for multiple uses, ranging from silage and dry hay to grazing. The alfalfa Amina allows you to expand the harvest window while maintaining the quality of the forage. The combination of two legumes in All-Terrain mixes allows for very good yields and improved persistence in more variable fields. Our product range also contains several basic mixtures for pastures. Finally, a mixture suitable for over-seeding can extend the lifespan of meadows and pastures.

Classic Mixes

Classic blends are simple and balanced blends. The varieties chosen combine very good yield, excellent winter survival, and good food quality. Classic mixes are an economical solution for the cultivation of forages.
