Summer Interns

We are currently looking for self-motivated individuals who want to be on the leading edge of new seed solutions for today’s farmer in the role of a Summer Intern. The position term is from late April to the end of August 2024. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the seed industry, the foundation of agriculture in Canada. There are two areas of interest:

Territory Interns. The successful Territory Interns will be involved in the following activities from April to August:

• Seed logistics as required
• Assist in planting and managing a range of sales and agronomy test plots
• Plot growth stage evaluations
• Support dealer business activities through the summer including grower tours, yield estimates and field signing
• Locations:
  • 4 positions in Ontario: West of London, London to Toronto corridor North and South, Eastern Ontario
  • 1 position in Southcentral Manitoba

Research Intern. The successful candidate will be involved in the following areas:

• Assist in layout and planting of agronomy research plots
• In-season treatment and evaluation of range of crop inputs
• In-season evaluation of corn hybrids and soybean varieties
• Support and preparation for grower agronomy days and farm shows
• Location: 1 position in Western Ontario
